This is the official 100 page full colour collection from the 2022 production of 'Pan' on silks in hard cover version.
The book contains multiple images from the whole exciting and challenging journey of 'Pan' Behind the scenes, Rehearsals, Costume Design, Group Photos and then photographs taken on the Saturday performance night by Professional Photographer: Colyn Huber & Kylie Canty
It is a snapshot of the journey which brought so many proud moments and represents all of the hardwork and joyful moments of this time.
"PAN on Silks was a massive community project with 58 performers, 12 professionals and over 100 community members who worked tirelessly to create the magic of PAN. The entire project took 10 months to create from the initial seed to the final wave of completion. This included 4 months of intensive community development workshops and choreography. The creation of 75 beautifully handcrafted and designed costumes. 3 incredibly unique performances as the production crew and cast navigated local wet weather conditions. The success of Pan can be attributed only to the commitment of all individuals. Its creation generated a wave of excitement and energy across our community and beyond. The response of joy with which it was received was overwhelming. Performances were sold out every night. Saturday night’s performance was a huge success and Sunday when the rain came in, forcing us to cancel the main part of the show, a magical thing happened. When we offered to the audience a variation on the original performance we also offered the choice for the audience to receive a refund.… of 290 ticket holders only 8 groups left. The crowd began to chant for us to go ahead and I felt shivers through my body, a flood of warmth in my heart and sent a massive ripple of appreciation for the community and all it’s support."
Money raised from the sale of the books will go towards the photographer and other professionals who volunteered their time, who deserve more than medals for the amount of time and energy contributed to this project and any remaining will go into a fund which will go towards the next production.
