About The Event
Meditation is an ancient, universal practice with significant physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual benefits. True meditation is absolute acceptance, and can be simple, loving and even joyful. Through meditation we learn to slow down and find the extraordinary in the ordinary.
In this workshop we will learn: *What meditation is (and what it is not) & why meditate *Meditation postures *Gentle warm-up exercises *Meditation techniques from Tibetan *Buddhism, Kashmir Shaivism, Sufism and the Self-Inquiry method of Ramana Maharshi *Micro awareness practices to integrate the essence of meditation into everyday life
We will begin together with a Cacao Consecration, setting our intentions for the workshop and opening up our hearts to the mysteries of meditation.
Following the workshop, you will be invited to participate in a free two week Meditation Challenge at Sundance Studio. You will be supported with personal guidance and inspirational material from the various meditation traditions throughout the challenge.

What to bring: A notebook and pen, towel/sarong, your own yoga mat (if you have one)
