Kundalini Yoga for De-armouring

In this 2 hr workshop we will use a variety of Kundalini Yoga practices to help shift pain, energy, emotion and physical tightness to break down the walls from around our hearts.  With the ultimate goal being a deeper opening to love in its truest form.

It is my belief that when we experience pain, loss, shame or other difficult emotions, the impact on our being is multi-dimensional.  These feelings - when not properly released, can continue to impact our energy, state of mind, habits, physical health and our overall feeling of wellbeing.

I have found Kundalini Yoga to be particularly useful for this work.  Because we use breath, sound, physical movement and deep stillness in a combined and methodical way, we can access and release a dimension of these feelings that maybe we hadn't been able to through other methods.  Often we are not aware that we are holding this heaviness until we feel the lightness that comes through shifting it.  It is this experience that leads us from a state of contraction to one of opening and enables us to share more of our authentic selves and greater love, with our families, our friends and essentially the world!

I would love you to join me in the beautiful sundance studio for this heart opening yoga workshop.

There is no prerequisite of yoga experience or fitness level.  Everyone is welcome.   If you have your own mat please bring it (there are mats available at the studio if you don't) and a sarong or towel to cover the bolster.   It may also be useful to wear loose full coverage lighter coloured clothing (or perhaps just bring a long sleeve shirt to put on) in case the march flies show up (though hopefully they will have moved on by this time).
