About The Event
To create is a beautiful thing. To create from your heart, using gemstones to make a beautiful tool to support consciousness and self love - whilst surrounded by luscious rainforest – well that is just pure soul nourishment!
I invite you to join me for this half day experience of creating your own 108 bead Mala necklace.
Mala beads have been used for centuries as a sacred tool for meditation and prayer. Using natural gemstones and intention I will gently guide you to create your own very special mala.
This workshop will begin with a potent meditation to allow you to become still and connect deeply with your intuition. You will then be guided to set an intention, this intention will carry you throughout the process of creation, from which gemstones you choose to how the design unfolds. It is a magical process to create in this way.
You will be shown the how to's of making a mala and then gently supported through the process of design and creation. There will be plenty of gemstone beads to choose from so you can really let your creative juices flow.
Your finished piece will not only be beautiful to wear, but it will hold this energy and serve you in a beautiful and deep way for many years to come.
Some general info: • It is very helpful when working with the cord we will be using if you have some fingernails to help manoeuvre the knots, so I would advise against cutting your nails too short in the days leading up to this workshop. • I would encourage you as much as possible to come completely open minded as to what you will create. The purpose of this workshop is to tap into your higher knowing, preconceived ideas of colours or gemstones etc are not always helpful for this process. • This workshop will be held in the beautiful nature filled location of Sundance Studio. We will be working on the floor for the duration of the workshop (with probs, bolsters etc). If this does not feel supportive for you please let me know and I can arrange a small table and chair for you to work at. • Please note the ending time is a guide only, additional time may be required to finish your Mala (though it shouldn't take much longer then this) • If you need to bring anything, such as props, snacks etc so you can be comfortable for the duration of the session you are more then welcome to do so. • The cost of this workshop is $140, this includes all of the beads and materials as well as instructions that you can take home with you. Spaces are limited so bookings are essential, a deposit of $40 (or payment in full) will be required to confirm your booking. Minimum numbers will be required to go ahead with the workshop and deposits will be promptly refunded in full if this requirement is not met.
I have run several of these in the past and they have always been truly magical events. The uniqueness and beauty of the final creations blows me away everytime!
