Reduce and Recycle Everything!

Join like minded individuals trying to reduce their impact on the world around them. An evening for us to inspire, educate and support each other on our sustainable living journeys.

Things to bring... (not essential; your lovely self and an open mind and heart is the only requirement)

* A small donation for studio hire

* Any excess produce you'd like to trade or share

* A show and tell product, item, system or idea you have used to help limit your impact on the environment.

* Any recycling you would like recycled as mission beach council does not provide recycling factilities this is a space where we would like to offer recycling options.

- soft plastics (will be recycled by woolworths)

- hard recycables (which you would usually put in large green lid bin, instead of going to landfill on tablelands we will take to cairns to recycle)

- containers accepted by MAMS scheme cans or bottle with 10c refund on packaging (these will be donated to mission beach wildlife carers to cover caring costs)

- papers, cardboard will be composted

*Items no longer used or wanted to be reused within our group or the wider community by being donated to the Food Pantry in Tully who sell all items 20c and all profits go to buying food for the Food pantry

* Any questions or road blocks you have come across on your journey.
