Service Description

Remedial Yoga Therapy is rooted in Japanese Oki Do Yoga and draws on the principles of Zen Shiatsu and Hatha Yoga. Each one-hour class is designed to gently restore balance to your health by strengthening both the organs and the body’s structure. We focus on preparing the body before moving into yoga poses, so that when you arrive in the posture, you can truly relax into it. The practice helps to identify and strengthen weaker areas of the body, supporting greater balance and resilience over time. Why Remedial Yoga Therapy? • Physically accessible for all levels • Helps you reconnect with your body • Provides safe, head-to-toe movement • Uplifts your mood and energy • Builds strength with minimal risk Who is it for? Remedial Yoga Therapy is especially supportive for those who have: • A history of injuries • Previous surgeries • Heart or lung conditions • Ongoing back, neck, or shoulder pain • Illnesses or medical treatments that affect movement • Physical limitations and the discomfort or pain that comes with them Short Bio Gosia is a fully insured, Yoga Alliance–certified Remedial Yoga Therapy instructor with a professional background in the medical sector. She has an insatiable passion for yoga that truly makes a difference—supporting health and healing at both the structural and organ level. In early 2024, Gosia moved to Far North Queensland from Coffs Harbour, where she had successfully run a boutique yoga studio for more than a decade. Since January, she has been teaching at the El Arish Memorial Hall, where she has nurtured a dedicated and growing yoga community. Her classes are often described as “grounding,” “uplifting,” and “like a head-to-toe body treatment.”
